Leslie is a popular Fife town situated on a ridge overlooking the River Leven to the west of Glenrothes. Originally known as Fettykill, its name was changed to Leslie in 1283 when Norman de Leslie obtained a grant of land here. The town flourished as a centre of spinning, bleaching and papermaking in the 19th Century, much of its industrial activity taking place by the River Leven. Today, Leslie provides a range of local amenities including shops, restaurants and primary school. More extensive amenities are to be found in the adjacent town of Glenrothes including the Kingdom shopping centre as well as sport and leisure facilities at the Fife Institute. For the commuter the A92 allows swift access to Edinburgh and there are railway stations at both Thornton and Markinch.

Whether you are looking for a house, flat, bungalow, apartment, new build or any other kind of property for sale or for rent, ESPC may have the one in Leslie that you are looking for.
