ESPC has teamed up with Edinburgh Rugby in a collaborative co-promotional partnership.

ESPC and Edinburgh Rugby

ESPC is delighted to be supporting the rugby giants, working together in an innovative way which sees combined use of both companies extensive resources. Edinburgh Rugby will receive marketing support from ESPC's website, The ESPC Paper and extensive contacts lists reaching a combined 600,000 readers in Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife each month. Meanwhile, ESPC gains exposure to the crowds of Friday night rugby supporters gathering to cheer the home team on.

Edinburgh Rugby chief executive, Craig Docherty, said: "I'm delighted to welcome such an established and high profile Edinburgh brand as ESPC to the suite of Edinburgh Rugby partners, at a point where the club is attracting more commercial interest and investment than ever before.

"I'm particularly pleased with the nature of the agreement which will add significant promotional and marketing weight to our efforts to spread the word about Edinburgh Rugby and our vastly improved spectator experience."

ESPC, marketing manager, Neil Harrison, agreed: "As two local businesses there is great scope for us to work together to achieve our own aims.

"Edinburgh Rugby is a further avenue for us to increase awareness of the ESPC brand and we can help tell the residents of Edinburgh, Lothians and Fife that the place to be on a Friday night is cheering on Edinburgh.

"With the changes made for the upcoming season in terms of the match-day experience at Murrayfield we're sure that more and more people are going to be coming along to enjoy the matches. Who knows, we could even try a link up where people looking for property for sale in Murrayfield can view homes on a Friday night before the game."

ESPC has been keen to support an active lifestyle this year by supporting both the Edinburgh Marathon Festival and Meadows Marathon earlier this year. The deal with Edinburgh Rugby is the largest marketing partnership to date.

Edinburgh Rugby continue their competitive campaign in the RaboDirect PRO12 against Ospreys at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday (kick-off 6.30pm, live on BBC ALBA) before the club returns home to face Connacht at Murrayfield the following weekend.
