A new addition to our Ask the Experts service

Our Ask the Experts service has proved so popular with visitors to the ESPC showroom that we have decided to expand it a little with a new Design Tuesday service. Whether you have decided to improve rather than move, are preparing your home for sale or have bought a new home that needs some upgrading, Design Tuesday can help.

We’ve all seen those house doctor programmes on TV where a home is transformed with what seem to be some pretty simple cosmetic changes – a new pair of curtains here and a bowl of fruit there – but when it comes to doing it yourself it never seems to work out just as well does it? And when it comes to the garden, well, we can’t all be Alan Titchmarsh and turn a bare plot of land into a glorious profusion of structured shape and colour in what seems to be just a couple of months. However, it’s when it comes to structural changes that we really begin to lose the plot with those reams of building and planning regulations written in a language that seem designed simply to confuse the unsuspecting public.

Our experts can help with all of the above and more. The design team includes an architect, a garden planner and a house doctor and they are available for FREE consultations from 12 noon – 2pm every Tuesday in the ESPC showroom, George Street, Edinburgh. You don’t need an appointment, just pop in and have a chat.
