Make your housewarming a Strawberry Tea with ESPC
ESPC is getting fruity to support Breast Cancer Care
On Saturday 31st July, from 11am-3pm, volunteers from Breast Cancer Care will be in the ESPC Showroom on George Street, Edinburgh, to promote their popular Strawberry Tea events.
Strawberry Tea is one of Breast Cancer Care’s annual fundraising events. It’s an easy and fun way to raise money for the charity and the perfect excuse to get together with friends and support the 46,000 people who are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in the UK.
Visiting the ESPC showroom on Saturday will allow you to find out how you can support the charity and host your very own Strawberry Tea.
Plus, Slaters has donated £100 worth of vouchers which ESPC will be giving away to one lucky person who comes into the showroom, registers for a Strawberry Tea pack and holds the event. So you could treat yourself to a new outfit for hosting your Strawberry Tea.
In addition to this Café Citron, located within the ESPC showroom, will be selling a selection of hot and cold drinks. The ideal accompaniment to a very delicious strawberry cupcake, proceeds of which will be donated to the charity.
A Strawberry Tea can be anything, from an afternoon tea in the garden with a raffle or quiz, to a strawberry tea-break in the office, cake sale at school or a full blown party!
Malcolm Cannon, ESPC Chief Executive said “With so many people affected by breast cancer it is important that Breast Cancer Care is able to build on its great work. That’s why we are utilising our resources to work with Breast Cancer Care and help them promote their Strawberry Tea initiative.
Later this year we are holding our own Strawberry Tea (which we have adapted slightly to be called a Strawberry Fizz evening!) for our ESPC member solicitors and staff. It will be a fun evening and we hope to raise a substantial amount for the charity”.
Breast Cancer Care is there for anyone affected by breast cancer. They bring people together, provide information and support, and campaign for improved standards of care. They use their understanding of people's experience of breast cancer and their clinical expertise in everything they do. Visit www.breastcancercare.org.uk or call the free helpline on 0808 800 6000.
